Nature Walk ~ Reston, VA

This trip was for extra credit so we could show what we learned. Nature is amazing you can find all sorts of things that come in many shapes and colors. Some of it is nice (example the flowers and the different color leaves since it is Fall) other stuff not so much (example the fungus).

Flowering it has sporophyte growing on top

Leave that have fallen of the trees...so pretty

Leaves. Plants growing in the water.

Bryophytes! (Mose) Grows more in Fall and winter because the leaves on the tree are no longer blocking the sun so it gets energy from the sun than converts it into food.
